DamaSoft NotifiPress

Description

DamaSoft NotifiPress complements WooCommerce transactional email with order notifications sent through channels controlled by the merchant.

The guided setup keeps the first connection focused: choose a channel, follow the official provider instructions, paste only the required credentials and verify the connection. Advanced webhook and provider options remain available without crowding the primary flow.

Core features

  • Telegram Bot API and Meta WhatsApp Cloud API.
  • Asynchronous delivery through WooCommerce Action Scheduler.
  • Automatic retries and duplicate suppression.
  • Automations for standard WooCommerce order statuses.
  • Customizable message templates and essential dynamic order placeholders.
  • Customer WhatsApp consent and secure Telegram account pairing.
  • Essential delivery log with masked recipients.
  • Signed webhooks and monotonic sent, delivered and read statuses.
  • WooCommerce HPOS and Cart/Checkout Blocks compatibility declarations.

NotifiPress does not require a DamaSoft messaging subscription. Provider fees and rules, when applicable, remain those of the gateway chosen by the merchant.

External services

The plugin connects to an external service only after an administrator configures and enables the related channel.

  • Meta WhatsApp Cloud API receives the destination phone number, approved template information and order notification variables required for the message. Service information: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/whatsapp/cloud-api/ — Terms: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms — Privacy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/
  • Telegram Bot API receives the paired chat identifier and notification text. Service information: https://core.telegram.org/bots/api — Terms: https://telegram.org/tos — Privacy: https://telegram.org/privacy

No provider credential is included in the plugin package. Credentials are entered by the site administrator and are never written to delivery logs.

FAQ

What is included in Premium?

Premium adds Evolution API, GREEN-API and UltraMsg, QR pairing where supported, custom order statuses, advanced rules, shipment-tracking placeholders, advanced logs and manual resend. A separate DamaSoft license activates Premium on the selected domain.

Does NotifiPress replace WooCommerce email?

No. It adds optional WhatsApp and Telegram notifications while WooCommerce remains the source of truth for orders and transactional data.

Are messages sent through DamaSoft servers?

No. The merchant connects a supported provider account directly. Message traffic goes from the WordPress site to that provider.

Can a message be sent twice for the same event?

The queue uses an event key and atomic claim logic to suppress duplicate delivery for the same order event and channel.

Are recipients visible in the log?

Only a masked value and a one-way hash are stored for operational diagnostics.

Changelog

1.0.3

  • Updated the WordPress.org presentation with refreshed banners, icon and a gallery of real administration screenshots. Plugin functionality and saved settings are unchanged.

1.0.2

  • Replaced WordPress authentication-key-derived Telegram signatures with a dedicated random plugin key stored privately on the site, with insert-only initialization to preserve concurrent pairing links.
  • Validated and sanitized known channel fields before saving or passing them to the separately distributed Premium add-on; malformed form and test-message inputs are rejected before dispatch.
  • Ignored malformed Telegram webhook messages without consuming valid pairing links or generating PHP warnings.
  • Preserved existing customer Telegram connections, saved credentials, provider fields and the administration layout. Previously generated, unused pairing links must be reopened from My Account to obtain a current link.
  • Added the new validation message to the English interface fallback; the Italian-default interface and existing translations remain available.

1.0.1

  • Fixed Telegram account links to fit the provider’s 64-character start-parameter limit while preserving a signed, single-use link valid for 24 hours.
  • Prevented reuse of consumed or revoked pairing links and reassignment of an already connected Telegram account. Existing customer connections remain active.
  • Stopped storing message bodies and provider payloads in delivery logs; essential operational diagnostics remain available.
  • Improved connection guidance and responsive administration without changing saved credentials, templates, automations or the database schema.
  • Moved manual resend and custom-status extensions into the separately distributed Premium add-on. All functionality included in this Free package is available without a DamaSoft license.

1.0.0

  • Initial public release with guided Telegram and Meta WhatsApp Cloud API connections and clear provider-specific settings.
  • Added WooCommerce order-status automations, editable message templates, live previews, asynchronous delivery and automatic retries.
  • Added customer WhatsApp consent, secure Telegram pairing, masked delivery logs, manual channel tests and webhook delivery statuses.
  • Added Italian-default interface with an English fallback, responsive administration and customer account layouts, and WooCommerce HPOS and Blocks compatibility declarations.
  • Clarified Meta template approval and sender requirements, connection errors, and the distinction between an expiring Telegram pairing link and a persistent connection.
