It is required for generating speech. You must create your own ElevenLabs account and enter your own API key in the plugin settings. The plugin does not create an ElevenLabs account for you and does not use a shared key.<\/p>\n\n<p>Data is sent only when an administrator or editor generates audio (from the post editor or from plugin settings when fetching voices or usage statistics). The following data may be sent to ElevenLabs:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>The prepared article text (and optionally the post title) when generating speech<\/li>\n<li>Your ElevenLabs API key in the <code>xi-api-key<\/code> request header<\/li>\n<li>Voice ID and voice settings (stability, similarity) when generating speech<\/li>\n<li>No visitor browsing data is sent while someone only plays an already generated file on the site<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Generated MP3 files are stored in your WordPress Media Library (uploads folder). Fetching the voice list or usage statistics also uses your API key.
