FAQ

Can I disable Auto-Sync?

Yes. Auto-Sync can be disabled by unchecking the corresponding
checkboxes in the Media Library Integration section.

Note: You will need to manually sync if you disable Auto-Sync.

Can I revert back to serving images from /wp-content?

Yes. The plugin does not modify your Media Library in any manner. On
deactivation/uninstallation the image paths will immediately revert to the
/wp-content paths.

Additionally you may also empty the images synced to the Imgur Album by
using the Cleanup section.

Using WordPress 4.3.1 with WP-Imgur 0.7.1. First impression: the setup was simple & easy. However, some images are not pointing to imgur for some reason, all the images present in posts are correctly pointing to imgur, but some others (logo, & background images) are not. Still investigating why. I created a ticket on WP Imgur plugin’s Github page https://github.com/dsawardekar/wp-imgur/issues/4 Details on installation: Once the plugin is activated, in the admin panel go to Settings > WP Imgur > “sync” tab, and click on “start sync”. This will automatically upload all the existing images present in your wordpress media library to your Imgur account (hence the Imgur servers). It creates a dedicated album in your imgur account with all these images, imgur.com > “username” (top-right) > albums. After that, you can go to your web page (reload it), and double check the URLs used for the images appearing in your posts & pages.
