There are millions of interesting quotations. Everyday we choose some of the best with our own hands. This plugin lets you add a Quote of the Day widget to your WordPress page. Inspire, educate and entertain your visitors!

Every day quote will change automatically. You can choose 3 different modes: text, text+image or image only mode. You can place multiple quote of the day widgets on your page and enjoy several topic feeds: quotations about love, motivational and humour quotes.

AZQuotes is one of the largest sites dedicated to quotations. Analyzing reactions from millions of our users, we can certainly select the best quotations for your audience.

Installation

  1. Upload azquotes_widget.php to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
  2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress.
  3. Go to Appearance -> Widgets in WordPress.
  4. Drag the AZQuotes Widget to the sidebar, for example the Main Widget Area or the Secondary Widget Area.
  5. Optionally, select the type of quotes you would like to see. (for example, General, Funny, Love, or Motivational)

FAQ

Can I add multiple quote widgets to my site?

Yes! Each time you add a widget, you can select the topic feeds you want to appear on your page. You could have one widget that displays the “Funny Quote of the Day” and another widget
below it displaying the “Love Quote of the Day”.

What versions of WordPress does this work with?

We tested with 4.4.2 but it probably works with other versions (3.x or greater).

Let us know in the “Compatibility” poll if it does work with a particular version, and let us know (via the Support tab) if there are any issues with anything newer than 4.4.2. Thanks!
