I needed to import 100 posts. This plugin made it as simple as putting everything
in an excel sheet and hitting 1 button, it let me set the title, date, url (slug),
categories, tags, post status (published/draft etc…) and the post text itself. The
only thing the free tier didn't allow is including the featured image. This is very
generous for a very well made product. Highly recommended.

### 󠀁[This plugin imported a 250 page HTML site into WordPress](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/this-plugin-imported-a-250-page-html-site-into-wordpress/)󠁿

I was given a 250 page HTML that was built using Dreamweaver templates and told
it needed to go into Wordpress. This plugin came to my attention as I devised a
plan to escape copy-and-paste hell. I used the Screaming Frog web scraper to build
my Excel file so each page had a row consisting columns that included slug, page-
title, and page-content. Then I used the Excel Importer plugin to create a Wordpress
page based off the information in each row of the Excel file. It worked like a charm
and I didn't even need to buy the Pro Version (I know this matters to some of you).
