The plugin runs automated checks in the WordPress admin using the bundled axe-core library. It can scan individual pages, scan discovered internal pages, generate PDF reports, compare saved reports and prepare an editable accessibility statement draft. Automated scans are useful for monitoring and documentation, but they do not certify legal or WCAG compliance. Accessibility statements and remediation decisions should be reviewed by the website owner or a qualified advisor before publication. #### Free features * On-demand WCAG-oriented single-page scans. * Whole-site scan from internal links discovered on the same site. * Prioritized issue reports: Critical, Serious, Moderate and Minor. * Practical recommended fixes for common accessibility findings. * PDF export for whole-site reports. * Saved whole-site reports retained locally in the admin browser. * Report comparison between saved whole-site scans. * Editable accessibility statement draft in ES, EN, FR, DE, IT and PT. #### Premium add-on Scheduled weekly scans and automated PDF reports by email are available through a separate Instintia Premium product. The WordPress.org plugin does not include locked premium functionality. ### Privacy Instintia EAA Accessibility Reports performs scans inside the WordPress admin browser and stores scan records in the site’s WordPress database. The bundled axe-core script is loaded locally from the plugin; it is not loaded from a third-party CDN. No scan data is sent to Instintia by default. The premium information card links to the user’s email client and does not submit data through the plugin. ## Installation 1. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`. 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress. 3. Go to **A11y Guard** in the admin sidebar. 4. Run a scan from the **Scans** screen or generate an accessibility statement from** Statement**. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin guarantee legal compliance? No. The plugin provides automated checks, reports and documentation support. It does not provide legal advice and does not certify legal or WCAG compliance. ### Does the plugin send scan data to Instintia? No. Scans run in the admin browser and results are stored in your site’s WordPress database. The premium information card is a mail link and does not submit scan data through the plugin. ### Is axe-core loaded from an external service? No. axe-core is bundled with the plugin and loaded locally in the WordPress admin. ### What is Premium? Premium is a separate Instintia product for teams that need recurring monitoring and automated email reports.
